Mother's Day Wish

Here's to all the MOM'S out there... I hope you have a WONDERFUL DAY!!!!

March of Dimes walk....

the following picture were of our team... In Honor of Maddie in the March of Dimes March for Babies walk ... the walk was Saturday morning... our team consisted of Melaine (captain) her daughters, Meagn and Michaela , Regina and myself... all total we raised $330.00... we walked 6 miles.... the pictures show our adventure well.... sore today but not as bad as I thought I'd be... all in all I am very prod to have done this event and am looking forward to doing it again next year!!! thanks again for Melanie for inviting me to tag along.... the most amazing part of it all is we finished the full 6 miles in exactly 2 hours... YEAH 2 HOURS!!!!!!! ... well i am off for now but thanks for stopping by and seeing our walking adventure... have a great day/night!

baby fix

this past weekend we had a mini gathering at my moms house and these two lil ones are max and savannah... savannah is 1 month older than max... max and his family live in virginia so this was the first time i got to "play" with him... savannah is mostly content with her surroundings while max wants to be right in the thick of thigs... gotta love boys!!!...

other than getting a major baby fix this weekend i have been knitting up a bikini top.... i am almost finished with it and will soon be starting on the bottoms... i am having fun with it.... dont know if i will ever be brave enough to wear it in public or not but i have wanted to make one for awhile anyway.... as soon as i finish i will post a picture of it (me not included) LOL... anyway i have been knitting a few more illusion scarves too and thinking about what to try to attempt knitting next... not much else fit to print this time around so until next posting have a great day/night....

SNOW

Hey everybody... first off let me say that we had some serious snow yesterday... around here when we get snow it don't stick and usually melts within a hour or so... but every couple of years or so we get some like this.... this was THE biggest flakes I have ever seen in my life...

this first picture was me just snapping a shot looking up and this was the best shot i could get....

this one is our back side yard... this morning

this was last night... big flakes huh...

this one is my "lil girl" sandy who was going crazy inside as it snowed.... but once she had to go outside well lets just say she changed her tune real quick.... LOL....

that's it on the pictures.... we finally got power back... YEAH... we were w/o power for about 18 hours.... just wanted to show off our southern snow.... ya'll have a great day/night....

gator bait

the eyes i did the following... i took a scrap piece of stiff fabric and put the eye in the middle and attached the eye backing eye ... then trimmed the fabric to a (somewhat) circle... then i seamed it in the hole...

i got this pattern form Morehouse farm called baby alligator scarf and i just had to do it.. i thought it was a fun one to do... it is for my youngest nicknamed critter... only fitting that he have a critter scarf.. i used red heart yarn called green fleck... he is about 4.5" x 44" ... i think it is just way to cute....
not much has been going on here... just trying to get things knitted up... i am working on
Dark Mark Illusion Scarf Pattern for my teenager...i am about 1/4 of the way thru it... then i am knitting JUST FOR ME... yeah right... lol
anyway ... i will be chatting with ya'll later ... til then have a great day/night!!!
